Everything is free right now — why is that?

Macro Weather is currently in its beta period. We are still completing the service with feedback from users, so we have opened every feature for free to the people taking part. In return, people who join now are registered as Founding Members and can keep receiving special benefits (1–6 months of Pro free, a lifetime 20–30% discount) even after the official launch. However, if the service or the relevant plan ends, the benefits end with it. Note: the “lifetime discount” applies for as long as this service continues to operate and the relevant plan remains available, and it may lapse if the service is shut down or the plan is discontinued.

When is the official launch, and can I keep using it afterward?

The official launch date has not been decided yet, but as soon as it is, we will notify you by email at least 30 days in advance. The Free plan stays as it is after the official launch, and you only need to upgrade if you want paid features (unlimited AI Tutor · hands-on tools and more). For Founding Members, the benefits for each tier are applied automatically.

Can I cancel my Pro subscription at any time?

Yes, you can cancel at any time under Settings > Subscription. After you cancel, you can keep using Pro features until the end of the billing cycle, and then your account switches to the Free plan automatically. We do not store payment information; a Korean payment gateway (PG) processes it securely.

How does BYOK (your own API key) work?

Register a personal API key issued in the Anthropic Console under Profile > API settings, and your AI Tutor credits become unlimited. Anthropic bills your own card directly based on usage. Macro Weather takes no margin in between, and the key is encrypted and stored only in your browser.

Can companies and schools use it too?

Yes, a group plan is available for schools, clubs and in-house training. The admin dashboard lets you manage progress, leagues and certificate issuance in one place, and custom branding is possible too. Contact us at nickyjomacro.edu@gmail.com.
