Macro Weather is currently in its beta period. We are still completing the service with feedback from users, so we have opened every feature for free to the people taking part. In return, people who join now are registered as Founding Members and can keep receiving special benefits (1–6 months of Pro free, a lifetime 20–30% discount) even after the official launch. However, if the service or the relevant plan ends, the benefits end with it.

Just sign up and Bronze is granted automatically. After that, you move up automatically when you meet the following requirements.

• Silver · 15 days of learning in a row (at least 1 question a day)
• Gold · Reach the Oracle League (25,000 XP cumulative)

You can check your current tier and the requirement for the next one in the app under Profile > Founding badge. Higher tiers include the benefits of the lower tiers.

The official launch date has not been decided yet, but as soon as it is, we will notify you by email at least 30 days in advance. The Free plan stays as it is after the official launch, and you only need to upgrade if you want paid features (unlimited AI Tutor · hands-on tools and more). For Founding Members, the benefits for each tier are applied automatically. You can delete your account or cancel your subscription at any time.

Of course. When you start, a 3-question level test gauges where you are, and you pick one of the age modes (Kids / Teen / Adult). If you're a beginner, Adult mode starts you from Lv 0–1 concepts, guided with emoji and short sentences. As your skills grow, more advanced concepts open up automatically.

No, they're different indicators. MTSI is a sentiment index that gathers the forecasts made by top predictors in 7-day windows and shows them as a single number from 0 to 100. Think of it as a gauge for reading how people see what lies ahead. Your Team Weather is calculated separately — four indicators (the spread between long- and short-term interest rates, CPI, the policy rate and the unemployment rate) are fetched from FRED every 3 minutes and scored for each team.

It's Macro Weather's signature engine. It holds today's market indicators side by side with past crisis moments such as 2008 Lehman · 2020 pandemic · 1970s stagflation to pick out risk and opportunity signals right away. It shows how similar they are as a number, like "Today is 87% similar to June 2007," and points to the areas your team watches first. You can see it for free on the Macro Cycle page.

No. Oracle is Macro Weather's largest prediction league system. You predict the next CPI · FOMC · jobs figures and compete on accuracy in a real-time ranking, and it has 4 sub-systems:
· Seasons — 4-week seasons · perks for top rankers
· Market — buy items and skins with prediction points
· Workshop — customize and backtest your own prediction model
· Guild — team-based collaborative predictions
The completion badge is the trophy for clearing all 5 levels of the league.

On learning and quiz screens, it automatically hides toast notifications, XP pop-ups, confetti and mascot speech bubbles so your learning flow stays uninterrupted. You can turn it on under Settings > Focus Mode, and the XP and badges you earn are still credited as usual. It's built to keep the fun of gamification while letting you focus quietly on learning when you need to concentrate.

Yes. Macro Weather is a PWA (installable web app), so you can open it right in your browser, and if you add it to your home screen it also supports running offline like an app. It works the same on iOS · Android · Windows · Mac, and your learning data is synced through your Firebase account.

Once you reach 25,000 cumulative XP, you're promoted to the Oracle League and can have your completion badge issued from your profile. The badge carries your personal ID and issue date, and you can share it as an image for social media or your profile. It is valid for 1 year and is maintained with a renewal quiz each year.

No. Macro Weather is an app for learning and educational purposes, and the Oracle badge is only a game badge that marks completing the learning path inside the app. It has nothing to do with recognized financial certifications such as CFA · FRM · the Korean Certified Investment Manager license, and it is not recognized as a formal qualification for employment, school admission, investment advisory work or the like. Please see it as a symbol of interest in learning and community recognition, like a Duolingo completion badge or a Steam achievement.

Pro/Master users can ask questions of the Claude-based AI Tutor, which already knows their pattern of wrong answers and their mastery status. It answers questions like "Why is the 10Y-2Y spread used as a recession signal?" with examples. Credits are 200 per month, or unlimited (BYOK) if you enter your own API key.

Yes, you can cancel at any time under Settings > Subscription. After you cancel, you can keep using Pro features until the end of the billing cycle, and then your account switches to the Free plan automatically. We do not store payment information; a Korean payment gateway (PG) processes it securely.

All learning records are stored securely through Firebase Authentication + Firestore encryption. We do not use personal information for any purpose other than providing the service, and we do not provide it to third parties. No. Macro Weather is a service for educational and learning purposes. Actual investment decisions must always be made on your own judgment and at your own responsibility, and no scenario covered in the app is a recommendation to buy or sell.
